So these last few pictures are from my second and third days where the weather was perfect and the light was unbelievably beautiful, to the point where (much to Liz's chagrin I'm sure) I would stop two or three times a block because the light was just so perfect.
The first day I did a cheesy cemetery tour with the worst tour guide ever (I wish I had a dollar for every time he said the same stale jokes over the course of a day...)
But the cemetery was beautiful, and I got some great shots, here's a couple of them...
This next grave was recently tuned up to make room for someone new, thus exposing the earth to the remains that were there...
You can clearly see bones and clothing and other bits...
Either that or the tour guide association grabbed some morbid props and all tell the same bullshit story...
Anyways...
The next day Liz finally got a day to dick around with me, so after breakfast at Elizabeth's we went to City Park so I could get out of the French Quarter where there was a great sculpture garden and beautiful park where I took these...
And then we took a street car back into the French Quarter where the light was so pretty, it was amazing...
And that's it really.
It was a great trip.
Love that place.
Hope to see you all there sometime...
Farts and kisses,
